The job is for a First Article Inspection (FAI) position on a contract basis in Prestwick.
Candidates must have previous experience in FAIR review and sign-off, along with a working knowledge of the AS9102 Specification.
Mechanical commodity experience is prioritized, and familiarity with inspection techniques and reading drawings is essential.
The role requires the ability to write Root Cause and Corrective Action Requests and previous knowledge of Spirit Aerosystems products.
Salary details are not provided, but the position is outside IR35 regulations.

We are currently looking for someone to carry out First Article Inspection on a contract basis in Prestwick.

Job Description:

To perform FAI on machined, fabricated and assembled products

Responsibilities/Requirements:

- Previous experience in FAIR review / sign-off

- Working knowledge of AS9102 Specification
- Relative commodity experience (mechanical is priority)
- Inspection techniques
- Reading drawings
- writing Root Cause and Corrective Action Request

- Previous Spirit Aerosystems Product Knowledge
