Learning Support Assistant – Prestwood

Location: Prestwood

Full-Time/Part-Time

Start: Easter 2025

Supply Desk are working with a school based in Prestwood who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant.

Within the role of a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or Teaching Assistant (TA) you will be supporting children or young adults in the classroom or on a one to one basis, helping them access the curriculum and helping them engage during the school day.

The role will require the following responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in your care to complete day to day tasks.
  • Ensure all personal care needs are met if necessary/appropriate.
  • Assisting with learning and social skills
  • Carrying out interactive activities to help build their knowledge
  • Liaise with teaching staff and external parties following care plans
