Automotive Fleet Sales Executive

Location: Office based - Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, HP27 0AA.
Salary: £30,000 basic + bonus; OTE £35k (open-ended).
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30, permanent full-time contract.
Benefits: Choice of company car, pension, 26 days holiday + bank holidays + an extra day off for your birthday (if on a weekday), free on-site parking.

Local Car & Van Rental Ltd (LCVR) is a privately owned vehicle leasing company supplying cars and vans to independent rental companies across the UK. Established in 2006, it is one of the largest independent companies in its sector, and the cornerstone of a dynamic and progressive group of businesses which include airport-based rental, nationwide vehicle logistics and specialised vehicle hire.

The main purpose of the role

•  Driving sales activity to help achieve monthly sales targets by proactively contacting our existing corporate customers (e.g. by telephone and email) to secure the replacement of existing cars and vans and agree additional orders
•  Collaborating with our field sales team to identify opportunities and drive sales volume
•  Working alongside our Sales Admin team to manage customers’ orders of new cars and vans

Main duties and responsibilities

•  To be a key contact for customers, building relationships and managing operational matters
•  Managing enquiries from existing customers & converting them into orders
•  Monitoring existing orders & keeping customers updated
•  Produce sales materials (e.g. weekly bulletins) to communicate offers by email
•  Ensuring customer information held is accurate and kept up-to-date
•  Using our vehicle management system (Jaama / Key 2) and CRM (Hubspot)
•  Providing support for your Sales Admin colleagues when necessary

Key Skills, knowledge & experience

•  Energised with a passion for sales. A minimum of 12 months sales experience is required; motor industry experience is preferred.
•  A positive & confident telephone manner and great communication skills
•  Good planning and organisational skills; able to multi-task and prioritise
•  IT literacy, in particular Microsoft Office
•  Great attention to detail
•  Adaptable, able to think on your feet & negotiate
•  Able to work both in a team and individually
