HGV Class 2 Driver

Job Description

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Leeds area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.
 

Hours: Typically 9 hours working across Monday-Sunday, start time is usually 7:30am but sometimes is as early as 5am (anything over 9 hours is time and a half)

Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour PAYE

Location: Leeds, LS28

Job Type: Temporary/Ad-Hoc
 

The role:

• Driving the removal vehicle
• Securely removing/transporting furniture to and from office or commercial businesses to new location
• Assisting colleagues to safely unload/load the vehicle
• Dismantling and reassembling furniture when needed
• Conducting vehicle checks
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety compliance

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months experience operating Class 2
• Manually unloading truck
• Have a valid and in date DCPC and Digi Tacho card
• Have no more than 6 points on licence
• Have a full understanding of WTD legislation
• Be hard-working, reliable and flexible
