Senior Architectural Technologist

Location: West Sussex

Salary: 38-46,000 DOE

I'm partnering with a highly respected, award-winning architectural firm to recruit a Senior Architectural Technologist for their innovative studio in West Sussex. Your role
As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you'll take the lead on delivering projects through RIBA Stages 4-6, primarily across residential and mixed-use schemes. You will:

  • Prepare and coordinate detailed working drawing packages, including plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and technical data
  • Manage coordination between consultants, contractors, and internal design teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining clear communication and strong relationships throughout each stage
  • Mentor and guide junior colleagues, fostering collaboration and upholding high technical standards

About you

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology (CIAT membership or eligibility advantageous)
  • Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale projects
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
  • In-depth understanding of UK Building Regulations and Housing Standards
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication abilities
  • Confident working both independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent technical detailing skills and knowledge of modern construction methods
