Red Sky Personnel are currently recruiting for experienced Steel Fixers to work on a major infrastructure project at Gatwick Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term scheme with a reputable UK contractor delivering large-scale civil engineering works.
Role Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and bending schedules
- Fixing steel reinforcement bars and mesh to formwork for concrete structures
- Cutting and bending bars to required lengths
- Tying rebar using hand tools
- Supporting formwork operations as required
- Adhering to site safety regulations and procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Blue CSCS Card (Steel Fixer)
- Proven experience on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Ability to provide a fully checkable 5-year work history
- Right to work in the UK
- Eligible for a DBS check
- Able to obtain airside pass clearance for Gatwick Airport
