- PCB design for our products power supplies and control electronics.
- Schematic entry from design engineering sketches.
- Creating and modifying 3D models and assemblies including piece part information.
- Generating and maintaining part information and bills of materials.
- Maintaining PCB library.
- Maintaining the DCC drawing system.
- Producing system schematics, wiring diagrams and schedules.
- Responsibility for adhering to the Company’s ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental and Health and Safety management systems.
- Keep informed and support IS09001 Quality and IS014001 Environmental requirements and improvement activities. Commit to achieving the Company business, Quality and Environmental objectives and policies.
- The above responsibilities are not exhaustive and you may be required to fulfil other duties and responsibilities from time to time for which you are reasonably qualified.
- HNC or equivalent in relevant discipline.
- Proven expertise and experience in PCB design (preferably to IPC Standard) and mechanical design with knowledge of analogue, digital and surface mount technologies.
- Computer literate and knowledge of MS Office.
- Proficiency in CAD packages for PCB and mechanical design (experience in Cadstar, eCadstar, Board Modeller, Inventor and AutoCAD are a distinct advantage).
