Assembly Operative – Medical Device Manufacturing
Location: Near Pulborough, West Sussex
Shift: Day Shift | Full-Time | Monday to Friday
Salary: £12.21 - £12.50 per hour
Transport: Own transport required (rural location)

Found Industrial are recruiting Assembly Operatives for a specialist medical device manufacturer based near Pulborough. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering and manufacturing company producing high-quality, precision medical products.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, production, manufacturing or engineering, who are looking to develop their skills within the medical manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical and electrical assembly of medical device components
• Preparation, cleaning, and handling of parts prior to assembly
• Use of hand tools and power tools to assemble products to specification
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, work instructions, and assembly documentation
• Quality inspection and testing to ensure compliance with strict manufacturing standards
• Packing and preparing finished products for dispatch
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, health and safety, and quality control
• Working collaboratively within a production and assembly team to improve efficiency

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, production or engineering environments
• Mechanical or electrical assembly experience preferred
• Engineering qualifications (mechanical/electrical) advantageous but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for precision assembly work
• Good level of written and spoken English
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Own transport essential due to site location
