The aim of this role is to fulfill the professional responsibilities of a Headteacher; including the supervision of all pupils and staff, and the school premises. You will provide the day-to-day direction and leadership that represents a consistent and effective model of integrity, excellence, collaboration, andaccountability.

The Headteacher, reporting to and supported by the Director of Education, will work alongside the proprietors, who will provide strategic direction, leadership and support. The Headteacher holds overall accountability for standards and the achievement of students.

The successful candidate could currently be a Head of School, SENDCo or AHT/Curriculum leader in a special school, looking for their first Headteacher role, or existing Head looking for a fresh challenge.

Our client is an independent national provider of specialist Care & Education. The new school will cater for children with SLD and associated challenges for children aged 7 to 18. It is planned to be a small school with 12 to 15 students.
