Are you a Band 6 or 7 Mental Health Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding locum role in West Sussex? We have an exciting opportunity within a private inpatient setting, working with patients with eating disorders, offering excellent pay and flexibility!

What You’ll Be Doing:Join our team as a Mental Health Occupational Therapist and play a vital role in supporting individuals with eating disorders in a specialist inpatient environment. You will:

  • Perform high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions

  • Promote health, wellbeing, and independence through occupational engagement

  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to the wider MDT

  • Adapt environments and develop skill-building strategies for meaningful participation

  • Manage a designated caseload using both theoretical and practical experience

  • Plan and deliver personalised, evidence-based care aligned with treatment goals

  • Evaluate therapeutic outcomes and contribute to ongoing care planning

Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid HCPC registration

  • Experience working with mental health and eating disorder patients

  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills

  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

  • A commitment to delivering safe, high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This is a flexible position requiring availability for 3 days per week, with potential for additional days based on service needs. The role is ongoing, with a strong chance of extension based on performance.
