Contract Duration: 5+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £ 16.89 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Support refugee, resettled, and migrant families in finding suitable and affordable housing in West Sussex.

• Work within the property and accommodation team and collaborate with community teams, partners, and local councils.

• Secure residential accommodation and address housing barriers to prevent premature end of housing arrangements.

• Build strong relationships with estate agents, landlords, and the Home Office to secure properties.

• Travel across West Sussex, including areas not easily accessible by public transport, to fulfill job duties.

• Communicate regularly in English with the public.

Person Specifications

• Must Have:

  • Valid UK driving license.

  • Ability to work full-time with a hybrid arrangement (minimum 2 days in office).

  • Strong communication skills in English.

• Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with refugee and migrant families.

  • Knowledge of the West Sussex housing market.
