Role Summary:
The Train Aesthetics Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in maintaining the high visual standards of our train fleet.
This position involves meticulously inspecting the interior and exterior of trains to identify and document any aesthetic defects, ensuring a consistently excellent presentation for our passengers and upholding the companys brand image.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough and systematic inspections of train interiors and exteriors, identifying all aesthetic imperfections such as scuffs, scratches, graffiti, damage to seating, cleanliness issues, and general wear and tear.
• Accurately record all identified defects, including their location, severity, and type, into the Maintenance Management System (MMS).
• Utilise IT systems and handheld devices efficiently for data entry, photographic evidence capture, and report generation.
• Prioritise defects based on established guidelines and contribute to the scheduling of necessary corrective actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance and cleaning teams to ensure defects are addressed promptly and effectively.
• Maintain comprehensive and organised records of all inspections and follow-up actions.

• Keen Eye for Detail: Exceptional observational skills with the ability to spot even minor aesthetic imperfections.
• Highly Organised: Demonstrates excellent organisational skills to manage inspection routes, documentation, and follow-up tasks efficiently.
• Proficient in IT: Competent in using various IT systems, including data entry software and mobile applications.
• Accurate Recording: Proven ability to accurately and consistently record detailed information about defects, ensuring data integrity within the MMS.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
