Our commercial consultancy client are seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors with proven expertise in NEC3 and/or NEC4 contract frameworks, ideally within the water or utilities sector across the South.

You will play a key role in supporting commercial and project teams to ensure effective cost and contract management across a portfolio of infrastructure projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation involved in delivering key water infrastructure programs, with a strong pipeline of work under various frameworks in AMP8. Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage NEC3/NEC4 contracts, including Options A, C, and E.
  • Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and valuations.
  • Conduct risk, value management, and cost control throughout projects.
  • Support tendering processes and the assessment of subcontractor applications.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and supply chain partners.
  • Assist with the resolution of disputes and preparation of claims.
  • Monitor and report on commercial performance and provide cost advice.

Skills/experience/qualifications

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial role.
  • Experience in the water, utilities, or civil engineering sectors.
  • Experience working on AMP frameworks (e.g., AMP7, AMP8).
  • Membership or working toward RICS, ICES, or similar professional body.
  • Familiarity with cost management tools (e.g., CEMAR, Oracle, COINS, etc.).
