QTS Tutor

Prospero Teaching is looking for Qualified Teachers (QTS) to provide personalised tuition for young people requiring Alternative Provision across West Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity to support learners outside of mainstream education and help them achieve their potential.

Key Details:

• Hours: Flexible, part-time positions available
• Age Range: Students from 4 years old up to post-16
• Subjects: Core curriculum and tailored learning programmes
• Delivery: One-to-one, face-to-face

As a Tutor, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to individual needs
• Support academic progress and personal development
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with stakeholders
• Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times

About you:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience working with children and young people in education
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning needs
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

• Hold right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide references upon request
• Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
