SRG Recruitment is seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for ongoing refrigerated tramping work with a reputable haulier in Barnham, west Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for HGV Class 1 drivers seeking consistent, year-round employment with a well-established company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating refrigerated vehicles for deliveries and collections across the UK.
- Adhering to all safety and compliance regulations, including tachograph and driver hours laws.
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and conducting daily safety checks.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least 1 year of UK driving experience.
- Valid CPC and DIGI cards.
- No DD, DR, DG, or IN endorsements.
- Strong understanding of WTD and driver hours regulations.
- Proficient communication skills in both spoken and written English.
- Flexible and reliable approach to work.
Competitive Umbrella Rates:
Days:
- Monday to Friday: 17.50 per hour
Nights:
- Monday to Friday: 19.00 per hour
Weekend Class 1 Rate are enhanced.
Additional Benefits:
- Guaranteed 10 hours per shift, Monday to Sunday.
- PAYE rates available upon request.
- Flexible shift patterns available, including 4 on 4 off and 5 on 3 off rotas.
