Success Recruit are currently working with a premium brand in the travel & hospitality sector, with offices based in South Essex, who are currently seeking a Guest Services Ambassador to join their growing, passionate team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Guest Services Manager and Guest Relations Manager, and will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service across the business’s multi-channel communication platforms - including telephone, email, and social media.
The successful Guest Services Ambassador will be expected to have:-
Previous experience in customer service or retail - experience in the travel industry is desirable but not essential

A professional, discreet manner and understanding of confidential issues

The Guest Services Ambassador will focus on providing impeccable customer service both pre and post-travel. All communication - written and verbal - must reflect the company’s luxury brand and tone of voice. The role requires a caring, empathetic, and professional individual who can handle customer issues promptly, effectively, and with genuine personability.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:-
Responding to all guest queries across communication platforms in a timely and professional manner

Ensuring all written and verbal communication is accurate and fully addresses guest concerns

Handling telephone queries with a calm and solution-focused approach, in line with brand tone

Liaising with internal departments, onboard teams, and external partners when required

Logging and acknowledging all communications received

Attending regional ports or joining ships on occasion, if required

Participating in a rota for the 24/7 Emergency Support Line

Undertaking additional tasks or responsibilities as needed by the business
Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm(Office-based 3 days per week - Wednesdays essential - with 2 days working from home following training)Occasional Saturdays required on a rotational basis only - 9:00am - 5:00pm
Salary:£23,850 per annum
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate customer service professional with an interest in the travel industry. Previous experience in travel is a plus, but not essential - more important is a genuine desire to deliver outstanding guest service.
