Portfolio Procurement are looking to recruit a Pricing Analyst for leading business in their niche sector. The aim of the role is to grow business profitability by building and maintaining a competitive but profitable pricing structures. You will be using internal data and feedback combined with external market research and benchmarking.

The Role

  • Conduct market research and analysis, benchmarking core products, identify and evaluate opportunities for additional profit
  • Provide pricing structure for Sales to work within that steers company growth in the right direction
  • Support the sales team to submit competitive bids meeting customer and company requirements.
  • Assist in setting financial targets, developing budgets, and monitoring performance against these targets
  • Analyse product mix and provide feedback and recommendations when performing outside of budget.

Skill/Knowledge

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Mathematical and analytical skills
  • Understanding of basic finance
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Working with large levels of information
  • Relevant degree in finance, economics, business
