Portfolio Procurement are recruiting for a Demand Planner for a FMCG/B2B client. The successful applicant will be maintaining accurate demand forecast based on available data and tools as well as cross-collaboration, ensuring that the business can meet the customer needs without excessive inventory or shortage. You will be developing the S&OP process for the business to ensure high levels of efficiency in regard to key metrics of stock levels and forecast accuracy, directly impacting sales performance as well as budget.

The Role:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends and customer requirements
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and procurement teams to align forecasts with business objectives and procurement plan
  • Manage inventory levels, ensure timely ordering and delivery of the products
  • Maintain accurate stock, price and delivery date information
  • Conduct negotiations and performance reviews with suppliers
  • Lead continuous improvement projects in procurement efficiency, sales forecasting and demand planning.
