As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a key role in the repair, overhaul, servicing, and maintenance of marine and off-highway transmissions, torque converters, axles, and related driveline systems.
You will primarily work from a well-equipped workshop, with occasional travel to customer sites. You'll be supporting projects that span both marine and industrial applications-bringing variety and technical challenge to your daily work.
Your Responsibilities of Mechanical Technician / Mechanical Engineer / Service Technician
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical driveline systems
Overhaul transmissions, torque converters, axles, and associated equipment
Perform maintenance and servicing tasks to high standards
Document all work completed and ensure compliance with health & safety procedures
Occasionally travel to customer locations for site-based support and repairs
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and quality service delivery
What We're Looking For in a Mechanical Technician / Mechanical Engineer / Service Technician
A recognised qualification or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering
Practical experience working with mechanical systems
Basic understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems (desirable but not essential)
A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
A team player with the ability to work independently when required
Must have the full rights to work in the UK
Hold a full UK Drivers license
