Part Time School Cleaner - (Split Shift)

Location: Station Road, St Newlyn East, TR8 5ND

Pay: £12.21 per hour | Permanent | 20 hours per week

About the Role:

H&K Workforce is proud to be hiring on behalf of a long-established and respected facilities management company. We are looking for a reliable and thorough Part-Time Cleaner to maintain a primary school site in the St Newlyn East area.

This is a permanent, part-time position with a unique split-shift pattern, ideal for someone looking for work that fits around their day. You will be a key part of ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the staff and students.

Your Schedule & Key Duties:

This role operates on a split shift, providing a great work-life balance.

• Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday
  • Early Shift: 7:00 AM - 8:00AM
  • Late Shift: 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM
• Total Hours: 20 hours per week

Your responsibilities will include:

• Opening the school with a morning tidy-up of key areas.
• Thorough cleaning of classrooms, halls, and offices.
• Sanitising restrooms and replenishing supplies.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all designated areas.
• Emptying bins and managing waste disposal.
• Securing the building at the end of the day, ensuring it is left spotless.

Is This You? The Essentials We Need:

You must have:

• A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (we cannot consider applications without this).
• Previous professional cleaning experience.
• The ability to travel reliably to Station Road, St Newlyn East, TR8 5ND.
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and a keen eye for detail.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
