General Operative

Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for General Operatives based in the outskirts of Norwich. Own transport is essential due to site location. 

Please note: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in the UK at the time of application.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assist with packaging, labeling, and dispatching of finished goods
• Prepare metal components for coating (e.g., cleaning, masking, hanging)
• Inspect parts before and after coating to ensure quality standards are met
• Load and unload parts from production lines or curing ovens
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Report equipment faults or material shortages to supervisors
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
• Any other duties as required

Requirements:

• Good level of physical fitness (manual handling involved)
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Willingness to work in a factory/industrial environment

Shift pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 14:00 - 00:00
