We are partnering with a high-end technology manufacturer as they seek to appoint thispivotal leadership role within their operations. As Quality & HSE Manager, you will take ownership of the Quality Assurance and Health, Safety & Environmental function, ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and safeguarding excellence across all programmes.

This is a strategic yet hands-on position, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to maintain certifications, embed a proactive quality and safety culture, and deliver exceptional standards across complex, high-precision technology solutions. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated QA team and act as the primary liaison for audits, regulatory bodies, and customer quality representatives.

Core Responsibilities Include:
  • Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Oversee internal and external audits, non-conformance management, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Champion quality best practices across design, manufacturing, and supply chain, including new product introduction.
  • Drive compliance and readiness for customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, achieving ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through training, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Monitor and report quality and HSE performance metrics, providing strategic insights to senior leadership.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the QA team, fostering accountability and excellence.
About You:
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing.
  • Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) essential; NEBOSH or IOSH highly desirable.
  • Strong background in quality leadership within high-end technology or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Proven ability to manage audits, accreditation processes, and customer quality engagements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
