As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you'll step into classrooms across Welwyn's welcoming primary schools, working alongside dedicated teachers to support students' learning and wellbeing. Every day will be different-supporting whole-class learning, working one-on-one, or leading small groups-while helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

This is a supply-based position-perfect for those seeking flexibility or looking to gain experience across different educational settings.

?? What You'll Be Doing as a Supply Teaching Assistant

• Supporting teaching staff across various year groups and learning levels
• Assisting pupils, including those with additional or special needs
• Creating an encouraging and supportive space for all learners
• Helping manage classroom behaviour and maintaining school standards
• Adapting confidently to different schools and teaching styles

?? What We're Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience a plus, but not essential)
• A genuine passion for education and making a positive impact
• Flexibility to work across primary, secondary, and SEN settings
• Great communication, initiative, and a team-first attitude
• A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
