Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Radlett

Location: Radlett, Hertfordshire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

Contract: Temp to Perm

 

We’re currently recruiting for a client-facing Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a prestigious commercial site in Radlett. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to take ownership of electrical and mechanical maintenance, compliance, and service delivery in a high-profile environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance to ensure equipment availability

  • Respond to BMS alarms and carry out emergency repairs

  • Maintain evaporative cooling and domestic water systems in line with L8 standards

  • Manage Permit to Work systems and ensure safe working practices

  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with site procedures

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation (task sheets, risk assessments, method statements)

  • Ensure spare parts availability and support continuous improvement of site operations

 

Candidate Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial building maintenance

  • Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 and 18th Edition

  • Strong understanding of SFG20 maintenance standards

  • Experience supervising subcontractors

  • Ability to provide 2 recent work references

  • Own safety boots and basic hand tools
