Morgan Mckinley are looking to speak with transactional finance professionals in the Midsomer Norton area to work for a client of ours in the education sector to support the Financial Operations function for a growing finance team. If you are looking to progress and study towards the AAT qualification, this could be the perfect role for you.

You will be responsible for taking ownership of the Sales & Purchase ledher function, ensuring transactions are process with accuracy, in a timely manner. You will work closely with the Head of Finance and wider finance team to provide clear reporting across the trust.

What will you be doing?

  • Monitoring & managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate posting and reconciliation
  • Manage monthly reconciliations of credit card and equals card purchases
  • Producing cash flow forecasts
  • Raising sales invoices and maintaining accurate client account records
  • Monitoring aged debtors
  • Supporting purchase ledger process

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in transactional finance, including sales ledger and/or purchase ledger
  • Excellent attention to detail & high levels of accuracy
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with MS excel & other MS office packages
