About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, technically minded, and results-driven Internal Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and has the technical knowledge to provide accurate product advice. You will play a key role in identifying sales opportunities, supporting customers with technical queries, and contributing to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to inbound calls (target: 80% answered within 5 seconds).
Process orders and quotations live over the phone.
Interpret technical drawings to prepare accurate quotations and perform take-offs.
Maximise sales opportunities from all enquiries to generate orders.
Ensure all enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally.
Undertake prospecting tasks (no cold calling - focus on existing customers).
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Liaise with Purchasing, Accounts, and Transport departments.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in internal sales or a similar role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Self-motivated and results-driven approach.
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
