This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established multidisciplinary team supporting the health and developmental needs of children and young people in the community.You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, consultant-led care, supporting safeguarding, developmental assessments, neuro-disability clinics, and contributing to EHCP processes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake community paediatric assessments including developmental delay, autism, ADHD, and neuro-disability.
  • Support child protection medicals, Looked After Children assessments, and safeguarding work.
  • Work collaboratively with local authorities, educational settings, and allied health professionals.
  • Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and multidisciplinary planning meetings.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with local and national clinical governance standards.
Requirements:
  • GMC registration with license to practise.
  • Previous experience in Community Paediatrics at Specialty Doctor or equivalent level.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, EHCPs, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Contract & Payment Details:
  • £80 per hour LTD (inclusive rate via Direct Engagement model)
  • Long-term contract with potential for extension
  • Supportive induction and clinical supervision available
