- Pay Rate: 12.50 per hour
- Start Time: 03.00AM daily
- Working Hours: Approximately 8-10 hours per day
- Experience: Desirable but not essential as induction will be provided
Responsibilities:
As a Refuse Loader, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collecting household and commercial waste from designated areas.
- Loading waste into the refuse vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Assisting the driver with navigation and maneuvering the vehicle in tight spaces.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Working effectively as part of a team of two to ensure collection rounds are completed on schedule.
Requirements:
While experience is desirable, we are primarily looking for candidates who possess the following:
- Physical fitness: The role involves significant manual handling, lifting, and walking.
- Reliability and punctuality: A consistent attendance record is crucial for this role and being on time to not delay collections.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions: This is an outdoor role, and you will be exposed to various weather elements.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude: A willingness to get stuck in and work as part of a team is essential.
- Good communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public.
