Facilities Manager

Location: Rainham, Essex
Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 per annum (depending on experience, Monday to Friday)

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure the ongoing maintenance and repair of the company's facilities.
  • Ensure all facilities are compliant with current health and safety legislation.
  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance staff, cleaners, and contractors.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
  • Develop and support management of the facilities department's budget.
  • Planning and managing refurbishments, relocations, or changes to office layouts.
  • Developing and implementing policies and strategies for reducing energy consumption and improving sustainability within the facilities.
  • Regularly reporting on tenant activities, progress against targets, and key business metrics to the facilities team.
  • Using data-driven insights to refine strategies and ensure continuous growth and success.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant experience in facilities or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
