Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Salary: 92 - 115 per day (dependent on experience)

A welcoming and inclusive school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team starting May 19th. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with pupils who benefit from emotional and behavioural support, helping them to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

• Join a supportive team in a well-led primary school

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with behavioural challenges

• Work alongside experienced SENCOs, teachers and pastoral staff

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of individual behaviour plans

• Ideal role for aspiring teachers, social workers or educational psychologists

• Support students with behaviour regulation strategies in class and during transitions

• Build positive and consistent relationships with targeted pupils

• Assist in implementing tailored behaviour support strategies

• Help manage classroom routines and de-escalate challenging behaviour

• Liaise with teachers and external professionals to support pupil progress

• Experience supporting children with social, emotional or behavioural needs

• A calm, resilient and empathetic approach

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
