About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pupils to provide tailored support, encourage positive engagement, and foster a nurturing learning environment. Your role will involve assisting students with their activities, promoting social and emotional development, and helping to create an inclusive classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individual and group pupil learning activities
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
- Help implement tailored learning plans
- Provide emotional and social support to students
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to meet students' needs
- Encourage independence and confidence in learners
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with children, particularly with special educational needs (SEN) is desirable
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable and enthusiastic
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
