Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a specialist organisation to recruit a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager. This is a key leadership position with responsibility for shaping and delivering health, safety and environmental strategy at the largest site in this division, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities of the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager will include:

  • Promoting a positive health and safety culture at their key operational site
  • Designing and delivering engaging health and safety training sessions to employees
  • Maintaining accurate health, safety, environment and quality records, reports, and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with the broader compliance team to design and roll out initiatives that improve workplace safety and support ongoing improvement efforts

The ideal Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within waste or relevant high risk industry
  • NEBOSH General certification or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues at all levels
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, specifically 9001, 14001 and 45001
