Maintenance Technician - Harwich - up to 34,000 - 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
We're hiring for a Maintenance Technician to join a well-established manufacturing site in the Harwich area. The company operates in a high-safety, process-driven environment and offers excellent long-term career stability, development, and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out routine and reactive mechanical maintenance
- Supporting site operations through repair and improvement work
- Using workshop tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Keeping clear and accurate maintenance records
- Planning your own workload and coordinating materials
- Liaising with other teams and departments
- Performing manual handling and lifting duties as needed
- Maintaining high safety standards at all times
- Participation in call out rota
What You'll Need:
- Level 2 or 3 Engineering qualification or NVQ in Maintenance
- Mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment
- Knowledge of health & safety practices
- Comfortable with Excel and basic PC use
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
