Manual Grinder (Machinist)

We're seeking a driven and experienced individual to join our team in a critical role that supports high-quality standards in a specialist industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual grinding machines to produce or repair high-precision components.
- Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings to meet strict quality requirements.
- Accurately grind parts to extremely tight tolerances (micron/thou level).
- Prioritise workload effectively to meet production deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Follow all health and safety procedures while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
- Complete all relevant shop floor documentation and ensure consistency between product and paperwork.
What You'll Need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar engineering role.
- Strong experience with cylindrical, surface, internal, and planetary grinding.
- Solid understanding of manual machining processes and precision tolerances.
- Engineering qualifications at Level 2 or Level 3.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is highly desirable.
