About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor to support the HSEQ Department across manufacturing and construction project operations. The role focuses on continual improvement of management systems, audits, inspections, investigations, and promoting a positive safety culture throughout the business.

You will play a key role in supporting the manufacturing facility and project sites, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, while driving behavioural change and best practice through the Common Visual Standards framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct periodic audits and inspections of the manufacturing plant and installation/construction projects.
  • Support the Lead HSE Advisor and HSE Manager with inspections and audits across sites, offices, factories, and yards.
  • Assist the HSEQ Director in developing and maintaining management systems in readiness for ISO audits, and support internal audits post-certification.
  • Contribute to continual improvement of company systems to support organisational objectives and targets.
  • Represent the business at client meetings and liaise with regulatory bodies.
  • Promote behavioural change and adherence to Common Visual Standards across all operations.
  • Maintain and update risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and safe systems of work.

About You:

  • NEBOSH General / Construction qualified, and member of IOSH, IEMA, or equivalent.
  • CSCS card relevant to your profession.
  • Full UK driving licence with business insurance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, risk management, and safe working systems.
  • Proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently across multiple sites.
  • Experience in auditing, inspections, and accident/incident investigations is desirable.
