Mechanical & Hydraulic Inspector
Location - Ramsgate, Kent
We are currently looking for a Mechanical & Hydraulic Inspector to join our client's team in Ramsgate. Our client is a leading global manufacturer in the electronic and electromechanical sector, offering a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.
Main Duties:
- Dismantle hydraulic and mechanical components into their sub-components.
- Conduct a range of inspection tasks, including:
- Analysing technical documents.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
- Detecting signs of wear, damage, or corrosion on components.
- Using precise calibrated measurement tools.
- Completing and updating digital documentation.
- Assemble hydraulic and mechanical systems and components from technical specifications, preparing them for final testing and review.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards set by CAA, EASA, FAA, and company policies.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support operations or other business requirements.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in mechanical or hydraulic engineering.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with at least GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Excellent analytical, administrative, and organisational abilities with a strong eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Highly organised with a proactive approach.
