Compensation and Package

Estimated Annual Earnings: Up to 29,692 - 37,935 per year.

Qualified Hourly Rate: 13.75 per hour.

Unqualified Hourly Rate: 12.25 per hour.

Sleep-in Rate: 60 per night.

Contract: Full-time, Permanent.

Hours: 37.5 contracted hours per week, with regular overtime available via extra shifts and required sleep-ins.

Key Responsibilities
You will be integral in protecting and safeguarding the welfare, growth, and development of all children in your care.

Direct Support: Implement the structured daily routine, promoting positive choices, healthy habits, and ensuring attendance at school and appointments.

Role Modelling: Act as a professional, empathetic, down-to-earth, and non-judgemental adult figure.

Administration: Ensure all records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date; good IT skills are necessary.

Home Duties: Complete essential household tasks and assist young people with educational needs.
Essential Candidate Requirements

Qualification: Commitment to achieving the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is mandatory. (Existing NVQ Level 3 is highly beneficial).

Experience: Preference for candidates with 1 year's experience working in a children's residential setting.

Transport: Must be a Driver with a full, clean UK licence and access to a vehicle.

Availability: Must be flexible to work a variable shift pattern, including weekends and all required sleep-ins.

Core Skills: Excellent communication and social skills, with good numeracy and literacy (Level 2 or equivalent).

Age: Applicants must be over 22 years of age.
