We are currently working with a prestigious BIM client who work on iconic construction projects.
They currently have an opening for someone to come in and help the Laser Scanning & Point Cloud Team within the business.
The role will be generally 2 days on site in London conducting surveys of buildings using laser scanning machines and 3 days in the Essex office to process the scan date and liaise with the Revit/CAD team.
Duties:
- Manage a variety of�3D Laser Scanning projects
- Deliver�As-Built 3D Surveys, Existing Services Surveys, Structural Surveys
- Point Cloud Data Processing Registration, and Data Management
- Utilise�hardware and software systems including; Faro Focus S70, Faro X130, Faro Scene and Autodesk (AutoCAD & ReCap)
- Work with clients to gather�feedback,�requirements, and identify issues to develop a tailored�solution
- Ensured all surveys are carried out in compliance with the companies laser scan standards of accuracy and precision
This would be a great opportunity for someone keen on point cloud data/laser scanning who also wants to learn Revit and potentially progress to a management role in the future.
Experience is desirable but not essential as training can be given. You must be able to carry scanning from site to site and also able to work from the Essex office for the office based part of the role. CSCS Card desirable.
