Level 3 Arboriculturist – Essex

Role Overview
This is a full-time, primarily office-based role for a qualified Arboriculturist, with occasional opportunities for remote work. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing UAV (Drone) aerial survey data, identifying species, and producing precise vegetation management plans that balance environmental sustainability with operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret UAV (Drone) survey footage of lineside environments
- Accurately identify tree species and assess vegetation health
- Categorise vegetation types and assess potential risk
- Produce safe, efficient, and sustainable work prescriptions within time-critical frameworks
- Collaborate with operational teams to support project delivery
Key Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Arboriculture (or equivalent)
- Strong tree identification skills and understanding of tree health, physiology, and disease
- Experience with vegetation risk management practices
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills
- Comfortable working independently and in a team
- Strong IT proficiency and reporting capability
- Full UK driving licence
- LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection certification (desirable)
- Prior experience with tree inspections and surveys (desirable)
Location Requirement:
Candidates should live withinthe Essex, as regular office attendance is expected.
