An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to support a busy finance team with key month-end responsibilities and commercial finance tasks. This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, thrives on responsibility, and is eager to make a meaningful contribution to business performance.

Duties will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly results and supporting reports for department heads
  • Coordinating client invoicing cycles and ensuring all billable activity is captured accurately
  • Carrying out reconciliations to support financial integrity and data accuracy
  • Preparing insights on revenue trends and producing supporting commentary for reporting packs
  • Working with internal teams to ensure resource planning data aligns with financial expectations
  • Leading on minor process reviews and recommending practical improvements for efficiency

About the Successful Applicant

You will be an enthusiastic and detail-oriented finance professional, confident in using Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and SUMIFS) and comfortable working to deadlines in a team environment. You should be proactive, approachable, and capable of identifying improvements without prompting. You will be well versed in month end processes and have experience of balance sheet accounting.
