Description
- Contribute to the production of monthly management accounts
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Play a role in year-end audit processes
- Maintain strong financial controls and procedures
- Support the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks
- Help in the preparation of VAT returns
- Actively participate in system improvement projects
- Liaise with external auditors and manage queries
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong comprehension of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
