Senior level role with full responsibility for a client portfolio including sole traders, owner-managed businesses and individual taxpayers, acting as the main point of contact, providing high level advice & support and acting as the main point of contact.
Main Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the provision of all accounting & taxation requirements for our customer base.
Managing client queries and providing professional advice.
Reviewing work of junior staff and providing guidance.
Driving efficiencies, system and process improvements.
Dealing with new customer leads & introducing them to the practice.
Experience Required:
You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) having extensive experience within a UK based practice environment.
In-depth technical knowledge of accounting and taxation as it affects our client base.
Strong coaching abilities with experience of managing or mentoring junior staff.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to create strong rapport with clients.
Self starter used to managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Strong technical skills and attention to detail is essential.
Experienced with modern accounting software & approaches (specifically Quickbooks, Xero, TaxCalc, Dext, Practice Ignition etc.. would be advantageous).
Awareness of the requirements for 'Making Tax Digital'
