This is a temporary to permanent position working Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm rotating shifts. You may also be required to work one in three weekends, which will be paid at a premium rate.
As a Medical Packer, you will be:
* Packing surgical equipment after an intense clean
* Checking products are all present against computerised list of items required
* Working within a sterile environment
* Following procedures
* Ensuring that all equipment is cleaned and sterile thoroughly
* Ensuring that the packing is done exactly to the specifications
* Completing all relevant paperwork
Requirements:
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours
* Confidence working within a sterile, medical environment
* The ability to do a repetitive but important job (whilst training)
* Previous experience in sterile environment is advantageous but not essential
* Excellent communication skills
