As we expand our operations in the UK, were looking for aProduct Assurance Engineerto help ensure mission success from concept to launch.

Youll be working closely with hardware and software engineering teams, global customers, and leading suppliers on space hardware destined for orbit and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Product and Quality Assurance across the full project lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain Product Assurance Plans to meet customer and internal requirements
  • Oversee materials, parts and processes assurance, from selection through documentation
  • Support design, manufacturing, integration, testing, and delivery of spaceflight systems
  • Collaborate on supplier and customer reviews and audits
  • Champion non-conformance, change control, and risk management processes
  • Contribute to internal QMS initiatives, audits, and continuous improvement
  • Act as a key point of contact for all product assurance activities with customers and subcontractors
  • Support proposal development and project bids as a subject matter expert

What were looking for

  • Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Considerable commercial experience in space, aerospace, or defence QA
  • Strong knowledge of ECSS standards and space hardware lifecycles
  • Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, and root cause analysis
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Supplier QA experience
  • Familiarity with satellite. Optical and robotic systems, or electronics manufacturing
