Quality Engineer

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer with a background in nuclear on a contract basis, to be located in Reading.

Duties;

- Support to weekly/monthly Project Meetings, weekly/quarterly Sustainment Quality Meetings (plus Test & Commissioning Panel, Kick off meetings, Requirements capture meetings and Handover meetings).
- Manage the review and acceptance of suppliers ITPs plus review and accept supplier LTQRs against specification;
- Support on the population of Project Quality documentation and ongoing review; - - General day to day support on all Quality matters with LFE and Customer Satisfaction.

Requirements;

- Appropriate experience of the QA/QC management processes.
- Experience within the Nuclear industry is required (QC1).
- Wide experience is required for working with Suppliers', the scope of which is to supply labour, M&E, EC&I and PP&E under management arrangements which the appointee will be required to monitor and maintain.
- Basic IT and communication skills are essential.

Hybrid working model on offer. 3 days on site and 2 WFH.
