A leading noise control specialist is looking for a TECHNICAL ACOUSTIC SALES ENGINEER / ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT to join its team in Reading. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious acoustics professional to combine technical expertise, client-facing consultancy, and business development, with a clear route to senior responsibility as the company evolves.
As a TECHNICAL ACOUSTIC SALES ENGINEER / ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT, you will be delivering noise control solutions, supporting acoustic assessments, and managing client relationships across a wide range of projects. You will also contribute to proposals and sales activities, helping drive growth as part of a long-term succession plan.
We are seeking a TECHNICAL ACOUSTIC SALES ENGINEER / ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT with:

Degree in Acoustics, Engineering, or a related field

Experience in a noise control company or acoustic consultancy

Strong understanding of both theoretical acoustics and practical noise control solutions

Excellent communication and organisational skills

IOA membership (desirable)

Full UK driving licence and ability to commute to Reading
