Responsibilities:
Join our dynamic team as a Security Administration Officer and play a crucial role in supporting a secure facility for various governmental entities. Your responsibilities will include:


Processing BPSS and SC vetting applications, assisting the Vetting Manager.
Executing security-related administrative duties to support Security Controllers.
Acting as the Security Subject Matter Expert for facility users and visitors.
Managing group mailboxes for vetting and secure facility operations.
Ensuring the legitimate and secure use of the facility.
Escorting contractors for facility maintenance.
Staying updated on security issues within the defence industry.
Participating in monthly reviews with Security Controllers.
Providing office cover for another Security team as needed.
Assisting with security audits and reviews.

Essential Skills:


Experience in business administration.
Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Outlook and Teams.
Strong communication skills.

Desirable Knowledge:


Familiarity with the Defence Sector and UK National Vetting System.

Qualifications:


You will be required to undergo a Baseline Check to BPSS Government standards.
UK Security Clearance (SC or above) is necessary for this role. This can be applied for or transferred if already held.

Strong administrative skills are a must! CRM experience is a plus.
Familiarity with Office 365 is beneficial, but not essential.
Ideal candidates will be local to Reading to avoid travel issues.
