My client, a leading UK freight forwarder and logistics provider, is looking to recruit a Southern based Key Account Manager to have responsibility for managing/growing a portfolio of nominated accounts.
We are looking for an experience Account Manager/Client Manager with a minimum of 3 years experience within the freight forwarding industry.
ROLE: Key Account Manager/Client Manager
LOCATION: Southern based - remote working
HOURS: Monday to Friday 9 am - 5.30 pm
PACKAGE:
- Up to £70k base salary dependent on experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Client Management responsibilities and reporting
- SOP Production and maintenance
- KPI Production against SOP
- Client & Operations interface
- Client Pricing
- Introducing key supply chain solutions to potential and existing customers to ensure sales of full product offerings.
- Management and development of relationships with customers key senior stakeholders
- Management and development of relationships with key partners, suppliers and authorities
- Liaison, marketing and relationship development with key internal stakeholders
- Support completion of client tender responses
- The role also has a shared input into product development, global physical and financial supply chain execution, industry R&D, technology development & deployment and global partner development
Reporting Requirements
- Customer P&L reporting as required.
- KPI service level achievement and monthly report delivery.

- Strategic customer progression and delivery of major development projects
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3 years operational/commercial experience within the freight forwarding sector essential
- Ideally experienced within the retail/fashion logistics vertical
- Excellent client development skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Commercial astute
- Analytical
- Relationship management
- Clean drivers licence
