We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Supervisor to manage and oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of our estate properties. This role is crucial for ensuring that all facilities meet health and safety regulations, managing budgets effectively, and implementing maintenance strategies that enhance operational efficiency.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Estate Management:

    • Oversee the maintenance and operation of estate properties to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Coordinate and carry out repairs, renovations, and upkeep activities.
    • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and grounds.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Supervise and train staff, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
    • Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Budget Management:

    • Assist in preparing and managing budgets for estate and fleet operations.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvement strategies.
  • Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure all activities comply with relevant legislation and best practice standards.
    • Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on estate performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Liaise with external contractors and service providers.
    • Collaborate closely with other departments to understand and support their needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education: Relevant degree or equivalent experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in estate or facilities management.
  • Skills:
    • Strong project and schedule management capabilities.
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations related to estate operations.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
