Sonic Summary

Vanta Staffing is seeking a Class 2 Driver for a client in the Reading area, focusing on local multi-drop pallet deliveries.
Candidates should have a minimum of 18 months of recent HGV driving experience, although newly passed drivers may also apply subject to assessment.
The position requires valid CPC and digi tacho certifications, and candidates must have no more than 6 points on their license (with no DR or IN endorsements).
The salary ranges from £16 to £17 per hour, with potential weekend rates at time and a quarter, and the working hours are Monday to Friday starting at 07:00 am.
This ongoing role may lead to a temp-to-perm position for the right candidate.

Class 2 Driver

Vanta Staffing Reading are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to work for our client based in the Reading area. This will involve local multi drop pallet delivery work, a perfect role for drivers who want consistent work with a prestigious company.

Requirements of a Class 2 Driver:

Minimum 18 months HGV driving (Cat C) recent experience would be ideal, however newly passed drivers will be required to be assessed.
Be able to complete multi drop pallet deliveries (8-15 drops)
Have a valid CPC and digi tacho
No more than 6 points (No DR or IN)

Details:

Salary: £16ph - 17ph - Days / Weekend rate at time & a quarter
Working hours: Monday to Friday ( 07.00am start) – Days / Weekends may be available
Location: Reading
Duration: Ongoing work (Potential temp to perm for the right candidate)

Role of a Class 2 Driver:

Complete vehicle checks
Being flexible and able to complete runs safely
